AS Care

Leicester

AS Care Residential Home is a large period property located in a leafy, suburban street in the Western Park area of Leicester. The Home is situated near to the centre of the city, close to all local amenities including the hospital and University.

We are registered for 25 Residents; be they elderly or those suffering from dementia and/or physical disabilities.

Our Home is set in glorious, mature gardens and we invite the more green fingered among our Residents to help out with tending them.

Our Activities Co-Ordinator ensures that our Residents are never bored, and provides a daily activities time table with something to suit everyone, from our most active to those with less mobility. We firmly believe that keeping our Residents both physically and mentally challenged helps to make their lives more fulfilling in many ways.

Our catering staff provide a traditional and varied menu of delicious home-cooked meals. All specific dietary requirements and nutritional needs of our Residents are catered for.

Our Registered Manager is Andrea De Jesus, who is always on hand to chat to Residents, their friends and families and also to anyone wishing to know a little more about the high standard of care we have to offer. Why not get in touch or pop in for a visit?

Accommodation

With a mixture of both single and shared rooms, many of which have en suite facilities, our accommodation is suitable for those who value their privacy, as well as couples and those who prefer to have a bit of company.

Our lively lounges are perfect for the many activities on offer every day and are where most of our Residents like to spend their time. However, we also have quiet rooms for reading, entertaining visitors or just perhaps a jigsaw.

All our rooms are decorated and equipped to a very high standard, with television and telephone points. Residents are actively encouraged to bring with them and personal belongings or small pieces of furniture to make them feels at home.

Our Staff

Our staff are passionate and committed to providing the highest standard of care. Continuity of care is of utmost importance to us and our residents. Conducting regular appraisals and keeping our staff happy and motivated ensures that staff turnover low and aids in the all-important continuity of relationships between Carers and Residents.

All our staff are qualified to a minimum of level 2 QCF (formerly NVQ) in Health & Social Care. Likewise, our catering staff all have qualifications in catering and hospitality.
