Ashford House Residential Home is a stone-built Victorian villa set in a picturesque part in the Bridge of Allan, Stirling, offering beautiful views over the surrounding areas. The Home is easily accessible and ideally situated for relatives and friends to visit and is close to many local amenities. Ashford House has well-kept enclosed gardens with parking spaces to the rear.
We believe in keeping minds and bodies active and offer 3 activities every day, ranging from Bingo to Arts & Crafts, to floor Netball, aromatherapy, board games, quizzes and outings in our minibus. In addition to this, we also celebrate various key dates throughout the year, such a Burns night, Easter and Christmas, and invite our Residents' families to join us for those occasions.
Anyone considering moving into Ashford House is welcome to visit the home as they wish accompanied by relatives or friends. You are warmly welcome to stay for lunch, evening meal or refreshments allowing you time to take in the atmosphere and meet with our Residents and Staff.
We have a specialised kitchen which is perfectly equipped enabling our cook and kitchen staff to provide varied and extensive menus giving provision to individual choice and dietary needs. Our catering team prepares the main meals on the premises daily using local produce.
Jackie Campbell is the Registered Manager of Ashford House and is always on hand to answer any questions or just to chat.
We have 20 single bedrooms and 3 double bedrooms decorated in traditional style over 3 floors where we can accommodate 26 residents. There is a chair lift for easy access between floors. There are 3 bedrooms available if you require shared accommodation such as a couple.
A nurse-call system is at hand in your room to summon assistance and a staff member will come to your assistance as soon as possible. If you require treatment in your room we will always respect your privacy and dignity. If you wish you can bring personal belongings including pictures, ornaments, keepsakes or small pieces of furniture to add to a homely and familiar environment.
Your living rooms which include lounging room and conservatory areas are equipped with a number of facilities for both yourself and somewhere you can also entertain your guests. Here you can relax, read, watch TV or simply listen to music of your choice.
